Terms of Service
The terms that govern how teams use KITEBED - covering accounts, acceptable use, the role of AI suggestions, plans and billing.
01Agreement to these terms
These terms govern your use of KITEBED, the project management and collaboration service. By creating a workspace or using the service, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, if you're setting up a workspace for an organization, that organization.
02Accounts and workspaces
You're responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for activity under your account. Workspace admins control membership, roles and access within their workspace. Keep your login credentials secure - the login details we send on sign-up are for your use, and you should let us know promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
03Acceptable use
To keep the service dependable for every team on it, you agree not to:
- Upload content you don't have the right to share, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Use the service to store or distribute unlawful, harmful or abusive material.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service or other workspaces.
- Resell or provide the service to third parties except as allowed by your plan.
04Your content
The boards, tasks, documents and other content your team creates remain yours. You grant KITEBED the permission needed to host, process and display that content in order to run the service and the features you enable - including the triage, workload and summarization features that operate on your content.
05AI suggestions
KITEBED's AI features produce suggestions - flagged blockers, priority rankings, workload reassignments and meeting digests - to assist your team. These are aids, not decisions. Suggestions that would move a person's work require human approval, and you are responsible for the choices your team makes with the information the service surfaces.
06Plans, trials and billing
The service is offered on Starter, Growth and Scale plans, with a free trial available. Starter and Growth are billed on a month-to-month basis with no lock-in. Scale plans are arranged directly and may be billed on agreed terms. Fees for a paid plan are due for the billing period you've signed up for; you can stop a month-to-month plan from renewing at any time.
07Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and improving, and we may add, change or retire features over time. We may occasionally need to suspend access for maintenance or to protect the service, and we'll aim to keep any disruption brief.
08Closing an account
You can stop using the service and close your workspace at any time. On closure we handle your content as described in the privacy policy, including deletion on request. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
09Liability
The service is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. To the extent permitted by law, KITEBED is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the period concerned.
10Governing terms
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which KITEBED operates. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
